Regional and north Queensland household insurance specialist, Sure Insurance has been recognised as one of Australia’s fastest growing companies in the 2022 Australian Financial Review’s (AFR) Fast Starters list.
The prestigious annual AFR Fast Starters list recognises the growth of Australian standalone companies, which started trading on or after 1 July 2017, and recorded at least $500,000 of revenue in 2021.
The list is ranked by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of revenue over the past three financial years, with the majority of growth required to be generated organically and from more than one customer.
Managing Director of Sure Insurance Bradley Heath said our inclusion in the AFR Fast Starters list with a FY20-22 CAGR of 619, is testimony to the solid growth Sure Insurance has experienced since entering the regional, north and far north Queensland general insurance markets in July 2019.
“Sure’s rapid growth over the past 3-years has driven the company to the position of being the third largest home insurance provider across regional Queensland.”
“We have remained a standout premium price leader delivering on average annual Household Insurance premium savings* of $1,480 or 30 percent per customer,” said Mr Heath.
“Sure’s growth has been underpinned by our low cost base, specialised technical underwriting capability delivering best possible premiums, innovative and targeted regional marketing, and an unwavering commitment to delivering fairness in insurance.”
“We sincerely thank our loyal customers who have placed their trust in Sure Insurance to protect their homes and residential strata complexes, and the Sure team for their dedication to delivering customer service excellence.”
“Our commitment to affordable premiums and support from our customers has placed us on track to return $100 million in premium savings back into the regional Queensland economy over the coming months,” said Mr Heath.
The 2022 AFR Fast Starters list ranked Sure Insurance as the 15th fastest growing Australian company, with revenue increasing from $0.39M FY20 to $20.16M FY22.
